Be. Magazine

here are a range of articles that I wrote for Be. during my time there. the absolute best place I've ever worked. I'll be eternally grateful to my publisher Helen and editor Li-Anne for entrusting me with the job, propelling me onto this healing journey...

“Haiku”

back in 1998, a bunch of us from Theatre Studies embarked on a "haiku" project. on a daily basis, each of us would send the group a haiku that reflects our feelings for that day. I loved it! a secret encrypted message. we kept to the three sentence structure but were more liberal with regards to the number of syllables. much later, for about a year from 2003 to 2004, I picked up on the project again, calling it "new lease of life".

妈妈&老爸's Love Letters

our most frequent visitor these fours years in Sydney is my mum. including a five week stay from May to June in 2003. the longest my parents have been apart for who-knows-when. the following is a collection of e-mails that traverse between them during this period. tell me it's not the sweetest thing after 30+ years of marriage.

Nature Care College

whenever I tell people I'm studying naturopathy, the standard reply is nat-what? so here's a selection of school-work that might give you an idea what I've been up to in Australia. when I'm not bumming around that is. and no! I haven't spend the last 4 years massaging people and giving facials. and I'm not coming back to open a spa!?!
