老爸大道理

For those of you who don’t understand the title, it loosely translates to mean “My Father’s Pearls of Wisdom.” Why this section? Cause my dad, he’s a classic. From the strict authoritarian whom I once knew, he has metamorphosised into this sentimental, loving and kind sweetie. Or rather, he is now more open about revealing that side of himself. One thing that hasn’t changed though is his steadfast opinion on things, which I often get a dollop of in our weekly skype calls and e-mails. Hee hee… they never fail to amuse William and myself, and here, I share some of these little gems. Yes, I know, I sense the makings of “cult status” here, doncha think?

Straits Times reports that the placement of laptops literally on laps has been linked to a higher incidence of infertility in males, so tell William he better not do that because he is not a father yet.
