Back at Last!
11 October 2005 — Halloo Everyone! So sorry, really long long time never post any entries. As you all know I had that big China/HK/S’pore trip, then was only back for a couple of days before Wil and I scooted off for our Uluru & Cairns trip (which we now affectionately call our “engagemoon”). Just got back last night, and totally crashed! But it was an amazing trip! We’re so proud of ourselves, really got out of our comfort zones during this trip, doing stuff like hot-air ballooning (yikes!), swimming in gorges, and not just snorkelling, but even scuba-diving at the Great Barrier Reef! Yup, really outback hey?
So well the upside about the long absence is that now I have tons to tell you, and of course, lots and lots of pictures to show! Haha, you know we Asians never leave home without our cameras! But do bear with me, ‘cos there’s still all that other stuff from Hong Kong and Beijing, so I’ll be back-tracking a whole lot! But seeing how my days ahead here in Sydney won’t be half as exciting (except that Wil’s cousin, Admund, is coming end of the month), I’ll have plenty of time to play catch up. But not quite yet folks, as you can imagine, Wil and I have spent the best part of the last 10 days in ulu-dulu Ayers Rock and Cape Tribulation, so we’re dying to get our Asian fix! What to do, still Chinese at heart, after some burgers and pizza, we still need good old rice and noodles. Will talk soon!
